Employee Empowerment Initiatives at Anil
We have taken various initiatives for building a culture of “Working together”.
- CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAM (CFT)
We have formed a CFT with a well-defined purpose wherein employees from different functional areas have volunteered and are involved in collaborating ideas and making decision facilitated by HR to accomplish tasks undertaken within given timeframes. These CFTs have initiated 5S, PRISM Mapping, Kaizen, Gemba-Kaizen, CEDAC etc.,
Quality circle movement was introduced at Anil in the year 2004, since then we have moved from initial 9 Circles to 17 at present.
Characteristics of QC
- QCs consist of voluntary members from all levels.
- These members meet once a week for 1 hour regularly to undertake development projects within their respective department.
QCs identify a departmental/functional developmental issue to be resolved within a time frame of maximum four months. Record of successful solutions provided by these QCs at Anil has encouraged this movement resulting in creative and innovative participation of employees at all levels.
- YOUNG ENGINEERS FORUM
A new initiative has been undertaken for engineers at Anil to motivate them, channelize their creativity and enable them to work more closely in the field of Engineering and Technology by sharing best practices at Anil and similar industries.
- SPORTS, GAMES AND HEALTH CLUB
At Anil various sports, games and health club facilities are made available for workers and staff, as we believe a Healthy body helps build a Healthy mind.
At Anil we have one of the best Technical Library facility duly recognized by Govt. of India. This facility is extended to all employees willing to learn and enhance their intellectual needs.
