He has pursued various leadership, strategic and human process courses, programs and workshops conducted by the top institutes like FLAME, SUMEDHAS and IIM-A. He has over 20 years of experience in field of finance, accounts and corporate strategy. He has played various roles in Anil Group of Companies like Material Head, Finance Head, Business Control, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Presently, he is handling all the Corporate Stratagic initiatives. His areas of passion are swimming, playing snooker and badminton. His hobbies include Indian classical music & playing tabla. A Master's in Marketing Management with more than 20 years of experience in Enzymes and Biotechnology Industry, Shri Dipal Palkhiwala started his career in 1990 by getting associated with the family Enzymes Manufacturing Business. Since the start of his professional career, Shri Dipal Palkhiwala is actively engaged and associated with in the production of Enzymes / Biotechnology products. | Nalin Kumar Thakur | Group President (Human Resource & Systems) Anil Group of Companies | Shri Nalin Kumar Thakur brings more than 29 years of experience in the field of Systems & Processes, out of which more than 15 years have been with Anil Group. His previous experience was, 14 years in the field of Systems with Tata Steel. Presently, he is heading Human Resource, Personnel & Administration, Systems, and Information Technology Services. He, along with CMD, Shri Amol S. Sheth was instrumental in bringing SAP and implementing it at Anil in 1999 - 2000. He has designed and implemented the Project Management System which is being used quite effectively by the project designing and implementing teams of all the companies in the Group. Lot of cultural changes initiatives were led by him. He has been the driving force behind the implementation of various management / work practices - 5S, CEDAC, KANBAN, TPM, KAIZEN, GEMBA-KAIZEN, Quality Circles etc. He has also successfully led various B.P.R. initiatives, He designed a unique organizational mapping tool "PRISM Mapping". This is a very effective facilitation tool which can be put to great use for implementing an ERP, BPR initiatives or/and any such organizational effectiveness program. He believes that cultural transformation can only be brought about by the meaningful changes in the work practices. His hobbies include reading books on literature, philosophy & history (mainly various civilizations, connections between/amongst them, rise and fall of empires & dynasties). | Prof. Indira J. Parikh | M.ED. (ROCHESTER), PH.D. (GUJARAT) (RETD. IIMA PROFESSOR) Director Anil Limited | Prof. Indira Parikh's name is a formidable name in the area of organizational management. In 2004, she became the first woman dean of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, country's best business school thereby also having the distinction of being the first woman dean amongst all IIM's in the country. After completing her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Social Studies in 1969, she pursued Master's in Education from University of Rochester, USA and thereafter completed Doctorate in Education from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad in 1979. In her professional career spanning more than three decades, she has held 21 positions at different management positions and held multiple responsibilities in diversified sectors, which is remarkable and unparalleled in the industry. For all her achievements and contributions to the world of management, Prof. Indira Parikh is conferred with several awards and recognitions - Most important of them all is the Lifetime Achievement Award for Best Teacher in Management at the World HRD Congress. She also has many publications to her credit - Books, research papers, monographs, articles, working papers, etc. Prof. Indira Parikh is the Founder President of Foundation for Liberal and Management Education, Pune. During her professional stint at Management level, she was Dean of IIM, Ahmedabad from 2002 to 2005 and also a Professor in Organizational Behaviour Area at the Institute. She has held the positions of the Chairperson of Organizational Behaviour Area, Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), Postgraduate Diploma in Management Program (PGP), Placement Committee and Alumni Relations and Activity Committee. She is the Founder Member of Sumedhas: The Academy for Human Context. She is on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and several other organizational and academic boards. The current focus of work is on transformation of organizations and corporate boards. She has designed management development programs in institution building, Leadership effectiveness, issues of role and identity, and Organizational renewal. She has conducted programs on issues related to women, primarily managerial and leadership roles, in various countries in Africa, South East Asia, Dubai, Netherlands and USA.
